Conditions

Notification of the reconstruction of a vehicle should be at the Dirección General de Tráfico(Highway Administration), who will send a document to the Ministerio de Industria (Ministry of Industry) to prepare a new log book. This must be verified by an ITV inspection centre (centre for technical inspection of vehicles).

Once the new log book has been obtained, the vehicle should be registered as a new vehicle.
